The KUKUIST machine embroidery lab opened in Berlin in 2022. We experiment with form and meaning and explore what machine embroidery can do: we turn custom orders into objects of art and make businesses visible and recognisable.

Starter
For businesses just opening. Logo design, textile selection, mock-up and first prototype.
- We design your logo from scratch: from idea and sketches to a finished file that looks just as good embroidered as on your sign and social media.
- We embroider your existing uniforms or help you choose quality textiles: aprons, polos, T-shirts, hoodies, napkins.
- We prepare a visual mock-up with the logo’s size and placement for your approval and digitize the design for the embroidery machine.
- First we embroider a sample so you can see and feel the result. Once approved, we embroider the first batch of 1 to 10 pieces.
- There’s also the option of a complete package for your business or brand. We partner with freelancers and design studios and can help you build a recognisable image to suit your goals. Pricing is discussed individually.

For established businesses — so your staff look like a team of professionals, not random passers-by.
- We embroider your existing uniforms or help you choose quality textiles: aprons, polos, T-shirts, hoodies, napkins.
- We prepare a visual mock-up with the logo’s size and placement for your approval and digitize the design for the embroidery machine.
- We do small wholesale with no minimum run. But the bigger the batch, the bigger the discount.
Embroidered uniforms are the toughest, longest-lasting branding method — they’ll survive hundreds of washes.
Heavy luxe
You don’t need a uniform, you need something you don’t have yet.
- We study your brand’s visual language and create things that don’t exist anywhere else. We invent everything from scratch: silhouette, details, materials, hardware, labels and embroidery. We can put your logo where nobody expects it, and design a piece specifically for the interior, character and aesthetic of your venue.
- We design pieces and embroidery from scratch — to match your brand’s visual language, character and tone of voice.
- We’ll source exclusive textiles or create a silhouette for you and your needs, and sew it in our own workshop.
- We create branded labels, patches and details, and place embroidery where nobody expects it.

Send us your design as PNG, AI, PDF, EPS or SVG — we’ll calculate the price and get back to you shortly.
Payment
We accept cash, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Companies receive an invoice. We take a 30% deposit.
Approval
As soon as the embroidery file or a test sample is ready, we’ll send it to you for approval — and only then start work.

Your order goes into production. Timing depends directly on complexity and volume.
Delivery
Pick-up, delivery within Berlin or international shipping.
